Dr. Kaitlyn Milstead founded New Narratives in 2023, bringing nearly a decade of mental health experience to a practice built on deep specialization and genuine connection.

What began as a focused practice in eating disorder treatment has grown into a full-service practice offering EMDR, couples counseling, family therapy, and support for women in midlife, all under the same person-centered foundation.

Rooted in ThE aLLEN Community

Kaitlyn grew up in Allen and returned to build her practice here intentionally, giving back to the same community that helped shape her and filling a real gap in specialized, compassionate local care.
