Welcome
Some people walk into my office scared. Some feel completely stuck. Some have been carrying something heavy for so long they do not even know where to start. Wherever you are when you arrive, that is exactly the right place to begin. My role is to meet you where you are and help you take the next step forward.
Why I Do This Work
I became a therapist because I understand what it feels like to go through hard things and come out the other side changed. I know what it means to face loss, to feel stuck, and to have to rebuild your life in ways you never expected. Those experiences did not just shape who I am as a person, they shaped how I sit with my clients, how I listen, and why I genuinely believe that healing and growth are always possible. Looking back, I think I was always meant to do this work.
Who I Work With Best
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting women in midlife and menopause who may be facing hormonal changes, identity shifts, relationship challenges, or questions about what comes next. Whatever brings you here, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and feel more like yourself again.
My Approach
My approach is holistic, collaborative, and deeply personal. I meet each client where they are, which means no two sessions look exactly alike. Some clients need practical skills such as assertiveness, emotional regulation, or boundary setting. Others need space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and better understand what they are feeling. I draw from CBT, DBT-informed techniques, mindfulness, experiential approaches, breathwork, and other evidence-based interventions. The right approach depends on the person sitting across from me and what they need in that moment.
What a Session Feels Like
My sessions are warm, honest, and nonjudgmental. I create a safe, comfortable space where you can show up exactly as you are. I bring the clinical tools and training when we need them, but what many clients notice first is that it feels like talking to someone who truly listens and cares.
Areas of Focus
Women in Midlife & Mental Health
Midlife can bring changes that affect your relationships, identity, confidence, and emotional well-being. Whether you are navigating perimenopause, menopause, caring for aging parents, empty nesting, divorce, career changes, or simply wondering what comes next, you do not have to figure it out alone. I help women reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and move through this season with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Eating Disorders & Body Image
At the heart of many eating disorders and body image struggles is a desire for control, safety, or relief. I work with adolescents and adults who feel exhausted from fighting their bodies or feeling consumed by food, weight, or self-criticism. Together, we explore what is underneath these struggles and work toward a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food, body, and self.
Trauma
Trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode. You are not broken. I help clients understand the impact of difficult experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and move toward healing without being defined by the past.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, and exhausted. I help clients better understand what may be driving their symptoms, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change that extends well beyond the therapy room.
Boundaries & Self-Worth
Many struggles with boundaries and self-worth are rooted in the belief that your needs do not matter or that you are not enough. I help clients build confidence, strengthen self-worth, communicate more effectively, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Outside the Office
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, family, and friends, practicing yoga, walking my dog Charlie, and traveling. I am a lifelong learner at heart, always growing, always curious, both personally and professionally.
Clients often tell me they could not have done it without me. The truth is, they did the hard work. Every difficult conversation, setback, and moment of growth belonged to them. My role is to guide, support, and challenge them along the way while helping them recognize the strength and resilience that was already there.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply want support navigating a difficult situation. Therapy can help you gain insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
What can I expect during the first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your goals, and any questions you may have. It is also a chance for you to determine whether I am a good fit for your needs.
How long does therapy usually take?
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and circumstances. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy focused on a specific concern, while others choose longer-term therapy to work on deeper patterns and personal growth. There is no right timeline, we work at your pace.
Do you work with eating disorders and body image concerns?
Yes. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and self-esteem challenges. My approach focuses on understanding the underlying emotional factors contributing to these struggles while helping clients develop a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food, their body, and themselves.
What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?
Feeling nervous is completely normal. Reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and moving at a pace that feels right for you.
